Has your pet disappeared? Find someone’s favorite companion?
Here is what you need to do:
FOUND PET:
Contact Iredell Animal Control at (704) 878-5424 immediately to file a report. This is where Iredell County Residents are to look for their lost pets. The Humane Society of Iredell can not accept stray drop offs due to Iredell County ordinances.
- Contact the local newspaper and place a found pet ad.
- You will need to leave a phone number for contact.
- Do not give too many details about the found pet in the ad so that the true owner may be able to properly identify their pet.
LOST PET:
- Contact Iredell Animal Control and report your pet. Visit daily if you can.
- Place ad in local papers
- Make flyers with pet’s photos and distribute.
