Lost and Found

Has your pet disappeared? Find someone’s favorite companion?

Here is what you need to do:

FOUND PET:
Contact Iredell Animal Control at (704) 878-5424 immediately to file a report.  This is where Iredell County Residents are to look for their lost pets.  The Humane Society of Iredell can not accept stray drop offs due to Iredell County ordinances. 

• Contact the local newspaper and place a found pet ad.
• You will need to leave a phone number for contact.
• Do not give too many details about the found pet in the ad so that the true owner may be able to properly identify their pet.  
   

LOST PET:

• Contact Iredell Animal Control and report your pet.  Visit daily if you can.
• Place ad in local papers
• Make flyers with pet’s photos and distribute.
