Randy Marion Subaru will host a fundraiser for the Humane Society of Iredell on Saturday, August 28, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Anyone who donates an item to HSI will receive a $10 gift card toward any service.

See the slider or our wish list page for items to bring. Monetary donations are also welcome.

We’ll have our adoption bus there, so please drop by to learn more about the wonderful animals we have available for adoption.

Mopar came from a local animal control when they were at capacity. His loving eyes will win you over at the first look. He weighs about 60 pounds at 1 1/2 years old. He is house trained and crate trained. He will be a great addition to an active loyal family. Sheperds want to be part of their family.

Skye

Skye is a three to four year old spayed female Persian blend with gorgeous silver/smoke colored fur. Skye is quite a beautiful little lady and is fairly petite in size. Skye feels that she is misunderstood in busy environments, so she asks for a very peaceful home where she can be THE Prima Donna, (otherwise she feels stressed and can get a bit grumpy). Skye and friends were taken to a county shelter when her humans moved. She was then taken in by HSI volunteers when the shelter was at capacity, so she is now more than ready for her permanent lifelong home. She is declawed on her front paws. If you feel that you can nurture this girl and teach her that humans ARE kind and loving, please ask to meet her. She deserves good things…

Imogene

Imogene is a very happy basset/beagle mix. She is around 30 pounds and is 4 year old. She was taken from the county shelter when they were at capacity and is now awaiting a new home. She is very social with dogs and has learned to respect cats. She loves to go out to her foster’s backyard and track smells in the morning. After her morning hunt, she is ready to be back inside for breakfast and a nap. She is crate trained and is doing very well with house training.

Snickers is a happy dog who loves everybody all the time. He wiggles from the tip of his nose to the end of his tail when he sees you. Snickers weighs in at about 15 pounds, and aprox.1 1 /2 years old.

Oliver

Oliver is a resilient eight week old kitten. Oliver was uncomfortable with people when he came out of the county shelter. They asked us to take him when they were at capacity and could no longer house him. He has been in foster care and has found people to be quiet entertaining. Oliver would make a great addition to any family. He adores other cats, is fearless around dogs, and allows affection from his foster.

Edith is a terrific 2 year old tabby girl…she has a lot of big love to share! Edith immediately purrs when she sees you…sometimes she greets you with a word or two and always has love to share

Edith and her brother Archie were surrendered to a county shelter. HSI brought them in for adoption. They are such an adorable pair! They must be adopted together, as Edith and Archie are very bonded….they snuggle together, groom one another, hold cute conversations, and they do share the same DNA! As her brother, Edith needs to lose some weight. HSI has started the duo on weight management diet, and they have no complaints! Meet Edith and Archie today… The special adoption fee of $190.00 for both Archie AND Edith includes spaying or neutering, current vaccines, de-worming, a combination test for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) / Feline Aids (FIV).

This is Elsie, and she is looking for a new home. She came out of the county shelter when they were at capacity, and was very pregnant. She has raised her kittens, and is now ready for a home of her own. She does like to talk to her people, and does expect to be spoiled at all times. In return for serving her, she promises to love you, and be your companion. She is ready for her new home. She would be a wonderful addition to any family.
