The Girls on the Run and Girls on Track programs donated 15 pet beds to the Humane Society of Iredell County on December 22. The girls made the beds by hand and donated them as part of their community service project.
Girls on the Run is a nonprofit, 12-week program for third- to eighth-grade girls that stresses self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running. Girls on Track extends the program to high-school-age girls.
